I use clinical, hospitalisation, visit, workflow, geographic and home-environment data to investigate care-delivery problems, then work with clinicians and operational teams to design and implement changes around assessment, documentation, handoffs and follow-up.

I developed triple-quadrupole GC-MS methods for trace disinfection byproducts in drinking water. The methods work made a simple problem visible: a compound reported as absent may only be below the instrument’s detection limit, and the substitution used for that non-detect can change a calculated toxicity estimate.

I helped take hollow-fiber treatment from early membrane formulation and prototype work through patents, manufacturing, product formats, financing and field delivery, in settings where electricity, specialist maintenance and replacement supplies could not be assumed.
Three granted patents on the hollow-fiber membrane innovation: two US patents and one European patent.A unit produced, a unit delivered and a unit still providing safe water months later are not the same result. That lesson shapes how I read implementation evidence.

My first industrial process work, on an ammonia and urea complex where energy and water are the two largest recurring costs. I modelled the ammonia synthesis loop and reviewed cooling-tower performance, and learned that most of the savings in a running plant come from operating decisions rather than new equipment.
